Dance as an art already began way before we, the millennials, have existed. It has been a part of celebrations, rituals and ceremonies of cultures from around the globe.

Variations of techniques and steps are used when creating a choreography. Dancing, according to the Free dictionary, is to move rhythmically to the music. And as time passes by, different types of dance genres have emerged. From ballet to contemporary, hip hop to ballroom, dance definitely is an art because it’s done in a gracefully yet artistic way.

Moreover, dance is an art because it’s a different method of expression.

You might not realize it but, the moment you try to move to any beat there is, you are already dancing. The simple hand gestures and foot movements combined with music can be a routine.

Dancing is a great outlet whenever you’re feeling good, or sad, or angry. You use it to release your emotions, to express your thoughts and to voice out your opinions. Eventually, you learn to jive to the rhythm of life.

Keep dancing, spiders!
